In the heart of County Armagh, Northern Ireland, we have been in the business of creating interiors for over 50 years. Around the world our signature quality workmanship can be found on ocean liners, 5- star hotels and luxury residences. Our homeland is renowned for hospitality, storytelling, and humour all to be found in our famous traditional pubs.

As 2020 was a year like no other; streets empty, doors locked, pubs closed, we had to find a way to keep the spirit alive. We found inspiration at the bottom of the garden. A disused tennis pavilion from the 1950’s, though dilapidated, suggested potential with its quirky octagonal shape. We did the thing we knew best.

We transformed it into a miniature pub of character and the story of this new venture was born. Everyone who experienced the sheer joy of this cosy pub encouraged us to build another one and before we knew it, we had embarked upon a vision to share these hand-crafted pubs. We could imagine them in gardens across the world, on cliff tops, on the beach, with spectacular views.

With Pub Óg we have brought together our experience of what makes a memorable pub space where memories are created, and stories told. Using local materials to craft the interior and artefacts from Ireland’s heritage of beer and spirits we aim to create the most authentic of pub experiences for you to be host of your own special place. With the smell of burning peat, you will be transported to Ireland wherever you are in the world.

We craft and build one Pub Óg at a time, each with the utmost attention to detail.

The unique bar top in our Whiskey Bar is made from a Chestnut tree planted in the 1750’s on Glenarm Estate and felled a few years ago by mighty storm Ophelia. Seasoned and lacquered it resembles the settling layers of a freshly poured pint of Guinness

Each pub features an authentic Irish Whiskey mirror with gold leaf, acid etching and hand painted lettering.

Our back bar comes with a secret compartment for those very rare
bottles of Irish Whiskey.

Every detail in Pub Óg is hand crafted by our carpenters and built to last.

Our team have honed their skills over many years in Ireland and across the globe from palaces to stately homes, luxury hotels to ocean liner dining rooms and film sets such as Game of Thrones.

They know that’s it’s the small details that catch the eye, the smell of whisky barrel staves, the touch of ancient timber that give
Pub Óg it’s crafted character.

Pub Óg is that special place to have fun, share a joke or dream, experience those spontaneous moments that become cherished memories. Designed for six people seated or eight standing this is a place that will be at the heart of any party.
